They never pay for anything. All claims are being denied trust and believe me.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I've never witnessed anything like this before in my life. These people are criminals, white-collar criminals to be exact.

I've taken my car to my local BMW service shop maybe six times while having this extended warranty, and maybe once out of the six times, my claim was accepted because I called and had such a fit! They constantly deny my claims. The service manager at BMW said he's never seen such a *** poor extended warranty company in all of his years of doing this type of work.

Please shop around, there are much better extended warranty companies than this one. You've been warned.

Forever, denying claims

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

First off, let me start by saying that I have never witnessed anything like this before in my life. If youre reading this, please stay away from these people. They are criminals, white-collar criminals to be exact..

They always deny your claim, no matter what theyll find a reason not to pay to fix the problem youre having with your vehicle. Ive taking my car to my local BMW shop here maybe six times while having this warranty, and theyve denied it at least five times out of the six.. One of the managers told me that hes never seen such a *** poor extended warranty company in all of his years of being a manager...

Please shop around for other extended warranty companies before considering these criminals. Youve been warned

Dont waste your money.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

This is a rip off company. Be aware of their loop-holes and their "great" adjusters.

Customer service sucks. Rude and unhelpful. Rather than giving your money to them, save it so you can pay the repairs out of pocket, which you will do anyway. I just feel sorry that we don't read their fine print and fall for these kind of scams.

If you say you will cover the repairs, you should cover the repairs that the vehicle needs. Preferred Warranty you should be ashamed of yourself. Send the money back to all your customers and close your doors. You get no referral from me.

Bunch of rip offs. If i could give you negative 100 score i would.

Thank you much. Your company is a waste of time and money.

Bought the most expensive warranty they offered. To anyone but a mechanic, the list of covered items is exhaustive and appears all inclusive.

I was sold on and bought the warranty in good faith under the impression that the engine, transmission, everything besides wiper blades, brakes, tires, etc. would be covered. Never thought I would have to worry about anything mechanical.

Had two separate problems over the first two years. Both of which were not covered (despite the contract stating “all internal engine parts”) and both dealers saying “your warranty sucks” to me, identically.

I paid almost $4000 for four years for peace of mind. Got totally ripped off.

Preferred Warranties Inc (PWI) is a Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have become another victim of Preferred Warranties Inc (PWI) who blatantly refuses to pay for coverage under their agreement, while stealing thousands of dollars from unrepresented citizens with deceptive and unfair trade practices for unjust enrichment.

Because it is economically infeasible for every individual affected by PWI to pursue legal action, I am gathering other victims to join us in a consumer rights class action lawsuit to get our money back. Any other victims please email your case and contact information to: PreferredWarrantiesIncScam@***.com

The only thing you have to do is share your story, and we will do all the work to bring justice to everyone who has been taken advantage of by PWI.

I am currently at the end of a three month warranty. I took my car back to the dealer mechanic and they didn't have time to look at it before the warranty expired.

PW had me take it to another mechanic and park it on there lot and have the mechanic tell them he has the car on the lot. This way the warranty will kind of grand-father in until they can look at it. Dropped it off Friday around 5:00PM EST and was told they can't do a diagnostic until Tuesday the following week.

I was impressed how quickly I spoke with someone at PW and they got me set right now with the different mechanic. I will be back after they do the diagnostic and report their findings to PW.

Company indicated a part wasn't covered and it was under the plan

Company denied repairs on three separate occasions. On the last occasion, company recommended a different repair for a reported problem but indicated the solution would be cheaper however wasn't a covered item.

Only after being reminded that the part was covered based on my plan, the company rep then indicated the recommended repair couldn't be authorized since it could fix the problem but wasn't reported as the problem. Once the dealer verified it was, the company said you can't verify until you take the engine apart.

We will not authorize you to take the engine apart to verify the part is broken and covered. They consistently deny claims by finding a loop hole.

Worst Company Ever

My Subaru broke down. It needed an engine.

They denied the claim several times. First, misuse. When that was proven wrong, they claimed improper repair. I had to call the dealer to get car fixed.

Dealer was great, this warranty is ***!! And they were snotty when I called. *** company. I told the dealer this, he said he will find a better company, but this company won't refund my money unless it is in first 30 days.

They hung up on me when I called to get refund.

Very shady people and company. Wow, total *** company, Preferred Warranties.

I bought this warranty the premier because I wanted that much piece of mind. The car was rear ended and totaled 3 months later, I had never had a claim with the warranty company.

I called to ask for a refund or a transfer to a different car once I bought one to replace my totaled car. They were so rude and refused to even discuss it. They said you can only get a refund within the first 30 days, but they would be happy to cancel the contract.....just no refund! I explained the stress of everything and this not even being our fault and begged for them to help, they refused.

I luckily called back and got someone nice on the phone and she let it slip that if the dealer where I purchased the contract would agree to cancel the sale, they would refund a percentage to the dealer and the dealer could give me back what they wanted. Thank god the dealer was amazing and I wish I could buy another car from them...CLEVELAND MOTORS are AMAZING!!!!

The dealer is sending me a refund, I will lose almost 700.00 dollars but at least its not the total of 2700.00. Stay away from this warranty company.

Sounds about right.....contact your attorney general, they have to pay. I'm playing nice with a BBB complaint, FOR NOW......

DO NOT USE THIS WARRANY COMPANY

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY A EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. You did not get a copy of your contract until you have signed the dotted line. Only to realize you are trapped and that their exclusions are completely comprehensive and subjective. THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER RECOVER A CLAIM.

I never used my exended warrany within the first year of purchase, unfortunately I had huge radiator/coolant/blower motor malfunction THAT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. A two thousand dollar job not covered, go figure!

THIS COMPANY WILL NOT GRANT YOU A REFUND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Stay away from this companys service contracts! If your dealer offers their warranties for free, ask them to reduce the price of the vehicle by the amount they would have to pay for the warranty. You might even want to consider a different dealer if they are offering you Preffered Warranty Inc.

Beach auto brokers in Norfolk, Va. Deals with them and they sell junk.......don't go anywhere near that place.

They're *** artists, unless you have a transmission issue, from what I've read. My guess is they have a stash of hurricane damaged transmissions, because they all seem to come from Texas.

Great experience for us despite multiple bad reviews!

I purchased a used 02 MDX with a automotive broker in February of 2013. I knew this model MDX had a history of transmission problems but we got a great deal and the dealer said would give us the warranty at his cost.

(roughly $900 for 1 yr unlimited mileage on powertrain). We took the warranty. Less than a month after getting it home the Torque Converter starting going bad. Sounded like the car was kicking in and out of overdrive when in cruise control!

I had read many reviews on preferred warranty (many bad reviews, only one good one....). So i made sure to follow correct procedure. I called Preferred Warranties and told them I thought something was wrong with my car. They asked where I wanted to take it for an inspection.

I went with our local Honda dealer (Acura dealer a ways a way and Honda makes Acura so...). They oked it and I took it in. Dealership said it was the transmission. From there I gave the dealership Preffered Warranties number and the guy at the dealership worked it out with them.

Both the dealership and PW told me that the warranty was gonna cover the transmission and I would be out $100 deductible and $150 (they don't cover freight charge for the transmission.) The repair total was $4300.

Dealership got the ok. Fixed transmission and PW covered the bill. I paid my $250 to dealership and deal was done.

Believe me, after reading all the reviews, I was the most surprised how it actually worked! (Dave Ramsey says most warranties are no good). But we prayed about this car before we got it, the warranty stood up, and for $250 I got a factory reconditioned transmission with a 3yr 36,000 miles warranty.

I felt I owed PW their good review!!! Matter of fact, Dealership said that they were the easiest warranty company they had ever worked with though he hadn't heard of them previously!

Don't believe it. Look at the other comments.

Hmmm. They must have a warehouse of transmissions.

I bet they are reclaimed from Hurricane Sandy, Katrina, you name it. They sure weren't hesitant to fix my transmission either....with a used tranny from Texas.

Hmm....Texas....Galveston.....Katrina.......coincidence?

It was just ANYTHING else I attempted to get done....... :(
